Analytics cookies, only with your consent

When you choose "Sounds good", we load Google Tag Manager, which then loads Google Analytics 4. Google Analytics sets these cookies on aitronos.com:

Google Tag Manager sets no cookies of its own.

What we measure: which pages are visited, how visitors arrive (a search engine or a link, for example), which links and buttons are used (such as the ones to book a demo), whether our forms are started and sent, and, when we are testing more than one version of a page, which version you saw. We never send what you type into a form, so the name, email address and company details you give us there never reach Google Analytics. We also strip the page address down to the page itself and any campaign tag that is a short code (such as “newsletter”), and drop everything else in it.

Testing versions of a page: we sometimes show different versions of a page, such as two headlines, to learn which explains our product better. If you haven't agreed to analytics, you still see one of the versions, picked at random each time. Nothing about it is stored on your device or sent to Google.

Google Ireland Limited processes this data for us as our processor, with Google LLC in the United States as its sub-processor. Google Analytics 4 drops the IP address of visitors from Switzerland, the EU and the UK before anything is stored, and uses it only to work out the country and city. Data about individual visits is deleted after 14 months. After that, only anonymous totals remain. Transfers to the United States rely on the Swiss–US and EU–US Data Privacy Framework, under which Google LLC is certified. See our Privacy Policy, section 2.4.

Changing your mind

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the foot of every page. If you withdraw consent, analytics stops straight away, in every tab you have open, and we remove the analytics cookies from your browser. You can also delete cookies for aitronos.com in your browser settings.

What this site stores on your device

Four entries, all set by this website itself, all held in your browser's local storage rather than in cookies. Only this site can read them, and they are never sent anywhere:

• Your light or dark appearance choice, so the site opens the way you last left it.
• Which version of our Solutions overview you are viewing, when you have followed a link that selects one.
• A marker noting that a page has already handed you on to the next one, so a single scroll gesture does not do it twice. Cleared when you close the tab.
• Your cookie choice (yes or no) and which version of this policy it applies to, so we don't ask again until something changes.

These are strictly necessary for the page you asked for, so they need no consent. Clearing site data for aitronos.com removes them.

Why we ask

Consent rules under the EU ePrivacy Directive, the GDPR and the Swiss FADP apply when a website stores information on your device that isn't strictly needed for the page you asked for. Analytics cookies are in that group, so we ask first. Saying no changes nothing about how the site works for you.

Links to other services

Some pages link out to services we run or use: the Aitronos product at chat.aitronos.com, our Trust Center at trust.aitronos.com, our rate card at pricing.aitronos.com, and a Google Calendar booking page for scheduling a conversation. The Swiss commercial register is linked from our Impressum.

None of these is embedded here, so none of them can set anything in your browser unless you click through. Once you do, you are on that service's own site, under its own terms. Apart from Google Analytics, described above and only with your consent, no outside service runs a script on this site.

The connector map on some pages loads brand logos as images from our own API at api.aitronos.com. That server is ours, sets no cookies, and sees only what our website's server sees on any page load.

If this changes

If we add other kinds of cookies, for example to measure our advertising, we will list them here as a separate choice and ask you again before anything new is set. Nothing that isn't strictly necessary is loaded before you agree to it.
